Al-Anon Service Center of Tidewater
Welcome to the
website for the Al-Anon Service Center of Tidewater, an Al-
Anon Information Service and Literature Distribution center. If you are looking for the
Al-Anon/Alateen World Service Office website, or another regional website, please visit our links page.
For over 60 years, Al-
Anon (which includes Alateen
for younger members) has
been offering hope and help to families and friends of alcoholics.
It is estimated that each alcoholic affects the lives of at least four
other people... alcoholism is truly a family disease. No matter what
relationship you have with an alcoholic, whether they are still drinking
or not, all who have been affected by someone else's drinking can find
solutions that lead to serenity in the Al-Anon/Alateen fellowship. Click here to learn more about Al-Anon and how it can help you.
Special events, meetings, and workshops are held throughout the year. Visit the calendar page to see what's coming up.
If Al-Anon has been a gift to you, please give it the gift of service and volunteer at
the Al-Anon Service Center of Tidewater (ASCT) office or answer the ASC phone from your
home. To get involved, please call Bette T. at (757) 499-1443
